1. REQUEST A BALLOT.
If you would like to vote absentee, you will need to complete the absentee ballot request form. Your request is valid for the calendar year. You can complete the online form, or download and return the paper form to us by mail, fax, email or visiting our office. Please note, you must request your ballot at least 11-days prior to the election by mail, fax or email.

2. WAIT FOR YOUR BALLOT.
Once you’ve requested your ballot, give our team time to process your request and then mail your ballot to you.
You can track your ballot, and confirm your ballot request has been received, at voteidaho.gov
3. VOTE, SIGN AND RETURN YOUR BALLOT.
Once you receive your ballot take the time to completely fill out your ballot and provide signature on the back of the pre-addressed affidavit envelope. Please note the additional postage that is required for return mail. Voted ballots may be dropped off at the Bingham County Courthouse or in our Ballot Drop Box located outside the courthouse. Ballots will be date and time stamped then held in the Elections Office Vault until Election Day. All votes will be opened and counted on Election Day.
