Eric Jackson is a fourth generation resident of Bingham County and currently resides three miles from the farm that his great grandfather purchased in 1907. He was raised on a dairy farm which meant feeding and taking care of the animals came first and his own needs came second. Growing up he spent years hauling hay, moving pipe, milking cows and swimming in the canals to cool off. Eric has deep roots in agriculture having been involved with family farm for several years and other ag related jobs throughout his life.
He graduated from Snake River High School in 1976 participating in FFA and welding.
He and his Wife Kelli, also raised in Blackfoot, have raised their five children in Bingham County.
He enjoys woodworking, scouting, serving in his church and is looking forward to serving in the capacity of Commissioner for Bingham County.
