The Bingham County Coroner’s Office is committed to the care and privacy of all decedents. All cases are treated respectfully and equitably. All forms of discrimination are strictly prohibited based on any decedent’s race, color, sex (including pregnancy), age, religion, disability, marital status, national origin, gender, gender identity or expression, genetic information, sexual orientation, veteran or military status and any other status protected by federal, state and local law. Due to the scientific nature of this office’s investigations, a biological sex is positively identified at time of autopsy. However, the designation of a biological sex does not in any way imply gender identity, sexual orientation and/or sexual expression, and is solely utilized as pathological data in order to comprehensively investigate potential causes of death and/or positively identify unknown persons.
